DUT Conference 2026
In the context of a growing urgency to translate high-level EU and UN goals on sustainability, competitiveness and urban development into tangible local outcomes, the DUT Conference 2026 will highlight DUT’s flagship activities and strategic direction towards 2033. Participants will learn more about concrete results, lessons learned and scalable solutions from DUT-funded projects on urban mobility, energy and circularity.
The conference will bring together stakeholders from all backgrounds to discuss transdisciplinary collaboration, innovative solutions, and scaling opportunities through a bottom-up research model that supports climate neutral, resilient and inclusive urban transition in Europe and worldwide.

9th OECD Roundtable on Cities and Regions for the SDGs
This roundtable will explore how decentralised development co-operation, city-to-city partnerships and collaboration with higher education institutions can drive progress towards the SDGs. The OECD will launch a new report, conducted with the support of Germany, on the contribution of decentralised development co-operation to better local governance and SDG outcomes in both OECD and partner countries.

EURegionsWeek 2026
The European Week of Regions and Cities is the biggest annual Brussels-based event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union Cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.
The European Week of Regions and Cities is organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy and the European Committee of the Regions.
